Operations Sanctions Screening (A)

For our client a major bank in Zürich we are seeking for a Operations Sanctions Screening.Please note that due to applicable Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Tasks

Real time sanctions filtering task: Responsibility to review, check and process false positive matches in SWIFT and ISO20022 messages generated by the Bank’s electronic screening system/filter 
Escalation of close and full matches to second level sanctions team 
Close exchange with Sanctions Team also with regards to the reduction of false positive matches

Requirements


High risk awareness 
High attention to detail and used to work independently 
Student in the finance area or completed bank apprenticeship 
Experience of a minimum of 1 year in the banking area, preferably in payments operations, hit handling or similar department 
Fluency in English and German
