75% Remote: QA Engineer (f/m/d) for Cloud Platform (Kubernetes)

For our client we are looking for a QA Engineer (f/m/d) for a Cloud Platform.

Location: Berlin / Remote (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times
Budget: 77,00 EUR net

Role:
The Platform QA team within the program organization is responsible for end-to-end testing of hybrid cloud platform services, including our private/public cloud Kubernetes Service, the Resource Management Service, the Service Lifecycle Management Service, the Identity and Access Management Service and multiple Data services, such as Postgresql, Kafka, TimescaleDB, etc; as well as our Devops tools.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the team and take responsibility for all Platform-level/e2e QA activities to ensure high levels of test coverage of our products and services. Activities include input into and implementation of the EDP cross-platform test strategy, requirements analysis, test planning, test design and management, manual test execution, test automation, and test documentation.

Skills (must-have):
- Knowledge of K8s, containerization, and orchestration
- Experience with multi-cloud platforms, understanding services, networking, and cloud-native testing approaches.
- Experience with testing and validating data pipelines, databases (SQL/NoSQL), data streaming technologies like Kafka
- Strong experience with test automation using pytest
- Proficiency in REST API testing
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex cloud-native issues
- Experience with test documentation
- fluent English in speech and writing

Skills (should-have):
- Experience with test automation framework implementation/adjustment
- Experience with TestRail
- DevOps experience
- Experience with infrastructure platform projects
