75% Remote: QA Engineer (f/m/d) K8s / IaaS

For our client we are looking for a QA Engineer (f/m/d) K8s / IaaS.

Start: November 2024
Duration: 31.03.25 ++ (long term)
Capacity: 100% if possible
Location: Berlin / Remote (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times
Budget: 77,00 EUR net

Role:
The Service team within the program organization is responsible for developing hybrid cloud platform services, such as a private cloud Kubernetes Service, a Resource Management Service, a Service Lifecycle Management Service, and an Identity and Access Management Service.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the team and take responsibility over all internal QA-related activities. This includes test strategy implementation, test case definition and management, test execution, test automation, and test documentation.

Skills (must-have):
- Deep understanding of different types (functional, regression, security, availability, etc) and levels (component, integration, e2e) of testing
- Proven experience in setting up and structuring test activities
- Proven experience with Kubernetes
- Proven experience of REST API testing
- Proven experience in test automation with pytest
- Experience of testing Infrastructure in an automated way
- fluent English in speech and writing (at least C1)

Skills (should-have):
- Experience of testing PaaS
- Good understanding of networks
- Experience with automated Infrastructure testing
- Experience with TestRail
- Experience with Golang
- Experience in leading a QA team
