Cost controller (m/f/d):
Main responsibilities:
*Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and savings.
*Assess the financial impact of changes and update budgets accordingly.
*Generate detailed cost reports and maintain accurate financial records.
*Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost optimization strategies.
*Compare different change scenarios and provide recommendations.
*Oversee accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
*Manage the invoice verification process and ensure timely payments.
*Collaborate with the construction accounting department to ensure accurate financialtracking.
*Assist in the preparation and review of contract amendments and claims.
*Manage financial reserves and ensure they are allocated appropriately.
*Plan and monitor cash flow, preferably for General Contractors (GP).
*Establish a process for tracking expenditures and managing the budget.
*Ensure that expenditures are within the approved budget and identify any variances.
Profile:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
*Proven experience in cost control or a related role.
*Strong understanding of cost analysis, reporting, and optimization.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency with accounting software and financial management tools.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
*Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.

*Start Date: November/December 2024
*Duration: 12 months with the possibility of an extension
*Location: Basel area
