Software Engineer (A) for Migrations / ART Capacity control

We are seeking an Software Engineer for Migrations / ART Capacity controll to support a project in the public sector in Switzerland.Please note that due to applicable Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Tasks

Planning and automating data transfers.
Analyzing and forecasting system resources.
Identifying bottlenecks and implementing monitoring.
Maintaining technical documentation and best practices.
Working with the ART team and participating in meetings.
Conducting tests to ensure data integrity.
Supporting and training end-users.
Recommending new tools for migration and capacity control.

Requirements


Completed higher education in IT (HF FH ETH Uni) or equivalent further education
Minim 5 years’ experience in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban)
Minim 5 years of proven practical experience in backend development:

Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud Stream)
Java SE (up to and including version 22),
Git Flow, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira 
Open shift and Devops Openshift
Maven, Jenkins and code quality tools (preferably Sonar), Continuos Integration, ArgoCD, Helm, Umbrella


Understanding of OSGi and Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) for technical migration 
Spring Professional Developer Certification
Knowhow in Messaging:# Publish-Subscribe and Request-Reply (Solace), Kafka
Excellent communication skills and fluency in German

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to approach challenges analytically and creatively
