Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Gothenburg, 12-Month Contract, Onsite 4-5 Days/Week)


About the Role:

This is a 12-month freelance contract based in Gothenburg, requiring onsite work 4-5 days a week. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-growing team focused on developing real-time embedded systems and solving complex challenges in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- C programming for real-time embedded systems.
- Debugging software on target systems.
- Working with Make systems and Python scripting.
-Continuous integration and testing using Git and Jenkins pipeline.

Contributing to automotive projects, including:

- Diagnostics (UDS, DoIP).
- Communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, XCP).
- Software download and bootloaders.
- AUTOSAR BSW configuration and SWC development.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator and Developer.

- Familiarity with SOME/IP, CAN network management, and E2E protection.

- Previous experience with requirement handling in the automotive industry.
