Job Title: Senior Hardware Developer - Servo Drives
Location: Berlin, Germany
Hybrid On-site 1 - 2 days per week
Duration: 12-month contract


Tasks

Development of innovative servo drive controllers for low and low voltage

Development of power and control electronics (MOSFET and IGBT power amplifiers, current measurement, position sensors, acquisition of analog signals, microcontrollers and FPGAs, fieldbuses and other communication systems)

Creation of the requirements and architecture for the hardware design

Circuit development taking into account EMC and electrical safety as well as support of the CAD board layout

Determination of development costs and preparation of the preliminary calculation for the series product

Creation of test plans for the prototypes, execution of functional and qualification tests as well as the development documentation (in CodeBeamer)

Specification of the required tests and test equipment for series production as well as support in coordinating the product launch with suppliers

Profile

Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification

Several years of professional experience in the field of power electronics and their control

Several years of experience in embedded hardware development and especially in the field of servo drive technology

Very good knowledge of the dimensioning of DC link components and power amplifiers in the field of servo drive technology

Good knowledge of E-CAD (regarding schematics, layouts and EMC), preferably in Cadence Allegro

Fluent in German and English

Sense of responsibility, independence and ability to work in a team
Ability to identify trends in the semiconductor market and multiply the knowledge acquired in the team
