Client: we are recruiting on behalf of a leading medical device company in Stuttgart. They are seeking a Senior C# Developer to work on cutting-edge medical software projects. This role will be crucial in developing high-quality solutions that meet medical industry standards. The position offers a significant degree of remote work after initial onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of a new DICOM-compliant medical imaging system using C#/.NET.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate medical data exchange standards.
- Optimize and refactor existing C# code to ensure performance and scalability in compliance with medical standards.
- Implement automated testing using tools like VectorCAST to ensure the system meets safety-critical requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Microsoft SQL Server backend for managing patient data in line with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize Azure DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and testing.
- Document the software development lifecycle (SDLC) following guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements:

- 5+ years of C#/.NET experience, with a focus on software development in regulated industries (preferably medical devices).
- Deep understanding of healthcare communication standards.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server for backend database management.
Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using tools like Cantata or VectorCAST.
- Familiarity with relevant medical standards.
- Fluency in German is required; English is preferred
