Application Engineer - Oracle, PL/SQL, AWS (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

Project: We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support a dynamic IT team within the energy sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that the assigned applications meet the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders. Working within a multinational and fast-paced environment, you will be tasked with maintaining best practices in application management and collaborating closely with various teams.

Tasks:

* Serve as the technical specialist, discussing requirements and implementing technical solutions alongside the internal development team.
* Support end users and resolve open issues, including being on call for urgent matters.
* Coordinate integrations with the internal integration team to support project changes.
* Ensure that applications meet the required standards for functionality, reliability, availability, security, compliance, and scalability.
* Contribute to the overall IT strategy, focusing on achieving an optimized system landscape.
* Stay updated on IT best practices, including methodologies, processes, and tools, ensuring continuous improvement.

Requirements:

* Strong business and technical acumen, with a customer-oriented mindset and results-focused approach.
* Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, PL/SQL) and proficiency in programming and scripting.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a technical or engineering discipline.
* 2+ years of experience in an agile IT or technology environment.
* Experience in the energy sector and AWS Cloud technology is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative team player.

Languages:

* English; fluent (written and spoken)
* proficiency in German and French advantageous
