Our client is currently looking for a Software Developer (gn) forecast projects in Düsseldorf and remote.

Responsibilities as Software Developer:


• Develop and maintain backend applications using .NET and C#
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for the integration of financial and time series data
• Process and analyze financial and time series data in systems supporting business or industrial processes
• Optimize and manage databases (particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL), including performance tuning and query optimization
• Integrate and utilize cloud services (Azure, AWS) to scale and improve backend infrastructure
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to ensure seamless API integration and data consistency
• Deploy and maintain version control systems like Git for source code management
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance to ensure high quality and efficiency of applications
• Continuously improve code quality and adhere to best practices for software development
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methods to further enhance software efficiency and quality


Experience and Qualifications:


• Software development experience
• Experience with working with financial & time series data and systems supporting business or industrial processes
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on .NET and C#.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience working with Time Series data and APIs is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of database management (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
