Pharmaceutical Construction Health and Safety Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Foster Safety Culture: Cultivate a proactive safety culture on-site, promoting safe work practices and compliance.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to relevant local and national health and safety regulations.
* Health and Safety Planning: Develop and implement project-specific safety strategies and plans in coordination with the Group Health and Safety team.
* Program Implementation: Oversee and execute site safety programs, including access control, inductions, emergency protocols, and welfare arrangements.
* Resource Oversight: Manage on-site health and safety personnel and resources effectively.
* Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews using established safety metrics.
* Incident Response: Lead investigations into safety incidents, ensuring thorough analysis and corrective actions.
* Training and Development: Organize and deliver safety training sessions, workshops, and briefings to staff.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance safety performance and promote best practices.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, plus a recognized Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Experience: At least 10 years of experience in construction health and safety management.
* Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities; strong experience with safety management systems and behavioral safety programs.
* Languages: Proficiency in both German and English.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
