Senior Wiring Harness Design Engineer (m/w/d)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wiring Harness Design Engineer to join a thrilling project with our client in the Netherlands. If you're passionate about designing innovative wiring solutions and eager to make an impact, we want to hear from you!


What you will do:

+ Create 2D build prints for wiring harnesses and HV/LV cable designs

+ Select and size components, including high-power cables, wiring, connectors, and terminals

+ Design wire harness topology, segmentation & schematics that meet ISO, UL

+ Design Low Voltage Electrical Systems

+ Onsite work is required for 20% of the time, with 80% remote

+ Number of days and repetition in the Netherlands are negotiable

+ During onboarding, a consecutive 5-day onsite presence is preferred

Anforderungen:

Must Haves:

+ >10 years experience in Electrical Engineering

+ Experience in durable electrified products within defense, automotive, or similar industries

+ Experience with risk assessment and mitigation techniques in electromechanical design (i.e. DFMEA,WCCA)

+ Strong knowledge of electrical standards (i.e. UL/IEC/NFPA 79/IPC/WHMA-A-620/NEMA)

+ Experience with various DFX methods

+ Excellent English communication skills for working with intercultural teams

+ Good Knowledge of Catia V5 (i.e. V5 Electrical, Workbench)

+ Good Knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter & AutoCAD

+ Strong understanding of EMC/EMI segregation


Nice to have:

+ Experience with major aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing companies

+ Proficiency in Dutch and/or German

+ Living around the south-west of the Netherlands
