Job Description: As a Freelance Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for our semiconductor products. You will work closely with our hardware engineers and other software developers to ensure seamless integration and high-performance operation of our solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test embedded software for semiconductor products.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure software and hardware compatibility and performance.
Optimize software for efficiency, speed, and reliability in a resource-constrained environment.
Troubleshoot and debug software issues on embedded systems.
Document software design, code, and testing processes clearly and comprehensively.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in embedded systems and semiconductors.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language.
Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with hardware/software integration and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
