Unser Pharmakunde in Bern ist aktuell auf der Suche nach einem "Senior Translational Scientist (m/w/d)" zur Unterstützung der Abteilung Research & Development. Es handelt sich um eine Elternzeitvertretung für 12 Monate.

Laufzeit: Dec. 2024 – Nov. 2025
Ort: Bern, Schweiz (vor Ort)
Kapazität: 40 Stunden/Woche

Tasks:
• Oversee, coordinate and take responsibility for translational projects/ sub-projects incl. literature reviewing, planning, performance, evaluation and reporting of scientific experiments at the highest levels of scientific integrity
• Work together with and provide expertise to other team members in order to achieve specified research project objectives within defined time parameters
• Presentation of projects to the client locally and globally, participation in expert teams (BET, NCET) as required
• Communicate status of project work to senior management by oral and written presentations as required
• Ensures high quality application of technology platform in order to support designated project objectives
• Preparation data sets for presentations and writing of scientific reports

Background:
• PhD in biological or biochemical sciences (preferable immunology or hematology background) should Experience in the laboratory
• Experience in people leadership (oversight and coordination of lab work done by technicians and junior scientists)
• In vitro cell-based assays as well as biochemical and multiplex assays
• Good team player
• Flexible and willing to work in a collaborative way with lab personnel as well as the leadership team of the Research Bern site
• Fluency in English, German language desired
