Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tomcat Administrator to manage and maintain our Apache Tomcat servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tomcat administration, with expertise in security hardening, SSL/TLS configuration, and log data management. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Tomcat environments while also contributing to knowledge transfer and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Tomcat Server Maintenance:

Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of Tomcat server

Perform necessary updates, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and security of the servers

Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect Tomcat servers from potential threats.

Conduct regular security audits and apply security best practices to maintain a secure environment.

Set up, manage, and renew SSL/TLS certificates to ensure secure connections to Tomcat servers.

Troubleshoot and resolve SSL/TLS-related issues.

Develop, apply, and evolve best practices for the configuration and operation of Tomcat servers.

Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in Tomcat server management.

Configure and monitor log data to ensure seamless integration with Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Syslog systems.

Ensure that log data is effectively used for security monitoring and incident response.

Develop training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams.

Increase team competencies and understanding of Tomcat administration and security practices.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including configuration guides, security logs, and operating manuals.

Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Manage and optimize Tomcat servers using Infinca's software solution for print output management.

Leverage Infinca tools to enhance Tomcat server performance and management.

Qualifications:

* Experience:

* 3-5 years of experience in the administration and maintenance of Apache Tomcat servers.
* Proven experience in security hardening and the implementation of security measures.
* Expertise in setting up and managing SSL/TLS certificates for secure communications.
* Familiarity with best practices in Tomcat server management.

* Technical Skills:

* In-depth knowledge of Apache Tomcat administration, configuration, and performance optimization.
* Experience with integrating and managing log data for SOC/Syslog.
* Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

* Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

* Experience with Infinca software solution for print output management.
