ESG Finance Support

ESG Expert / support in Real Estate Finance (Environment/Energy focus / Finance ) + ENGLISH is OK (German a plus), Location Berlin, Germany - MUST have experience in sustainable finance, ESG Environment/Energy focus issues in the real estate industry.

We are seeking someone who will work in the/with the finance team but who will focus on Environment/energy building improvements for a large Real Estate firm.

You will be the contact person in the financing team for banks and other stakeholders in the company (e.g. asset management, energy department) on ESG, taxonomy and sustainability topics for financing projects - stakeholder management is key ; as is coordinating/reporting and communication with the banks and their ESG requirements, Especially the Environment bit of ESG so Energy, Environment AND Building improvements.

Active participation in the implementation of new and support of existing bank financing processes for the residential and commercial real estate portfolio

Participation in the implementation of our strategy to reduce CO2 emissions in the portfolio

Identification and development of new topic areas at the interface between real estate financing and ESG

Your profile

-Practical experience in the area of ​​sustainable finance, ESG or sustainability issues in the real estate industry
-Professional experience in commercial real estate financing
University degree or comparable degree in finance or sustainability
-Communication skills and analytical skills
-Experience with Microsoft Excel and data management
-Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
