The Lead Platform Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of the data platform so that it can support multiple AI and data workstreams. This role involves defining logical architecture and principles incl. documenting architecture decisions and reasons. Derive the technical roadmap, ensuring integration and interoperability of various systems, and maintaining the scalability, security, and performance of the platform. The Lead Platform Architect collaborates with different expert platform teams to align their needs with the underlying central platform services and ensure a coherent platform architecture that enables AI use-cases at speed and scale.

Skills:
* Architectural Design: Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform architectures, with engineering skills routed in current industry best practices e.g. domain driven design, data mesh and other modern software engineering practices
* Technical Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and coordinate multiple workstreams and development teams.
* Integration Knowledge: Proficient in integrating diverse systems, including data analytics, AI, and cloud services.
* Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP), databases, APIs, and microservices architecture.
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of architectural solutions.
* Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Innovation: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive innovation within the platform architecture.
* Compliance and Security: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements to ensure the platform meets industry standards.

Must have:
* 5-10 years of experience

■ Basic knowledge of AI technologies, specifically GenAI technologies and the applications of LLMs
o AI Governance Lead
■ Expertise in creating and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI.
■ Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.)
o Lead Platform Architecture
■ In-depth knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP), databases, APIs, and microservices architecture.
■ Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
o Product Lead and Evangelist
■ In-depth knowledge of strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, customer focus methodologies, product mindset and user experience.
■ Knowledge about digital product characteristics in the area of data & analytics.
