The Client is a leading company in Pet Nutrition.

The current jobholder takes parental leave for 6 Months, through this Time the client needs a senior financial controller experienced in leading a team 15 in accounting, payroll, forecasting and governance

Responsible for periodical and YE closing process ensuring timely and quality closing of books In line with group standards and guidelines
Responsible for successful execution of end-to-end financial operations

Drive Governance agenda and periodic reports ensuring proper segregation of duties and process controls in line with the Group policies (ICE framework).
Responsible for DACH NCFO management: forecasting, monitoring, action taking (through the Junior Controller & CH Controller/Co-Pilot

Requirements:
Finance experience in accounting, financial controlling with direct Involvement of financial operations

Strong understanding of US GAAP & Local GAAP
Working knowledge of Taxes (VAT, Corp. Income Tax, Wage taxes)
Experience & good understanding of Internal Controls / Governance
