Archiviertes Projekt - Construction Manager (M/F/D)

Tasks:

1.  Design support

- Participate to the constructability review
- Input to Project Execution Plan
- Detailed planning of site arrangement in cooperation with the customer
- Risk assessment of the Construction works, Site Logistic works and Facility Management works
- Establishment of safety plan and construction execution plan
 

2. Procurement support

-Review contract template from a construction point of view
 
3. Construction

-Respect permitting (authority handling) conditions
- Check construction on site Vs. design
- Coordinate contractor’s mobilisation on site and construction site arrangement including water, sewage, power, IT and telephone
- Manage construction of temporary site office
- Responsible for site security
- Responsible for site safety
- Coordinate work between the different contractors and the client
- Secure on-going production if relevant
- Work out detailed construction time schedules in compliance with the project - A schedule - based on input from the contractors.
- Maintain construction time schedule with progress and necessary updates due to e.g. scope changes
- Work out catch up plans if construction is delayed
- Coordinate review and approval of quotations from contractors
- Review and approve payment requests from contractors.
- Keep track of all payment requests and Change Orders from Contractors
-Lead weekly construction meeting and submit MOM
As part of the Project Management Group participate in relevant meetings with the customer
-Provide key figures (time and economy) to the PM for controlling and reporting
-Secure the implementation of scope changes and amendment notes
-Secure all temporary installations and buildings are demolished and removed from site as per design
 

 4. Handover

- Responsible for the remedy of defects
- Initiate and lead inspection of completed project for client acceptance and takeover
- Lead hand over from contractor to client, including economical settlement

Qualification:

- Completion of studies in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or similar 
- At least 10 years of professional experience in large-scale industrial construction projects and minimum 5 years’ of international / global - experience within construction management of GMP facility
- Excellent command of French, command of written and spoken English is ideal
- Thorough knowledge of all construction disciplines to facilitate performance of Superintendents’ and Contractors’ cooperation
- Proven control of time schedule, budget and quality issues
- As the link between the project team and the companies carrying out the work, you ensure interdisciplinary cooperation.
- You are able to empathize with customers, have the ability to inspire and also demonstrate leadership qualities in customer relationships
