Test / Lab Manager - Telecoms - DWDM/SDH - 12 Month Contract

We are currently supporting a Telecommunications business with the recruitment of a Test Lab Manager with a background working in Core Network / DWDM / SDH / Transmissions projects.

General Conditions:

* Contract type: 12 Month Contract + extensions following good performance
* Start date: August/September 2024
* Location: 100% Home Office
* Day rate: Negotiable

My client has a leading fiber optic network and one of the world's best mobile networks.

Join their dynamic engineering team delivering the merger of 2 core / fixed line networks. You will be responsible for the teams delivery from testing to go-live.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience as an Optical / Transmissions Engineer (WDM, SDH, etc).
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex telco projects.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in management, leading Optical/Network/Test engineers in the lab.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Especially with technical engineers.
