Full Stack Application Developer (m/f/d) - Fulltime - Remote & Essen

For the following position we are looking for an external Full Stack Application Developer (m/f/d) with the following qualifications:

Application Developer role in a project which’s goal is to replace an existing system landscape used for the asset management of the client's conventional power plant fleet. Key task is the development of the new platform in a team of 15 developers (focus on backend).

Objective / Purpose of role
The project follows a greenfield approach and aims to provide a lean, robust and flexible state of the art solution to the business customer to fulfil the day to day processes within the asset management domain. You will become part of the project team where you need to collaborate close with your colleagues to provide the best possible software solutions to our business partners.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:

Technical Skills
• Expert in TypeScript programming
• Expert in API development (especially GraphQL)
• Profound knowledge in C#/.NET development
• Experience with Node.js and/or Express.js
• Experience with MongoDB
• Sound experience with AWS infrastructures and services (e.g. Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, StepFunctions, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Containerization)
• Basic Knowledge with IaC (especially Terraform)
• Basic Knowledge with common CI/CD technologies (e.g. azure Devops pipelines)
• Experience in modern authentication (e.g. OAuth, SAML and / or AzureAD)
• Experience in conducting unit testing (Jest, Cypress)

Business Knowledge & Processes
• Ability to quickly understand complex business processes and get up to speed with the application landscape. Comprehend the interactions between these processes and applications.
• Streamlining of processes, increasing process transparency, reduction of complexity.

Communication
• Experienced in working in an agile environment (Scrum)
• Excellent team player
• Use of collaboration and tracking tools (Azure DevOps)
• Determine the pros and cons of different alternatives through planning and discussion with the rest of the Embedded IT team
• Good level of written and spoken German and English
Additional Skills / Experience Required
• Experience in the Energy Industry is a plus
• Experience with Time Series processing is a plus
