Project description
The company is preparing to introduce an asset performance management and optimization
(APMO) solution to optimize the operation, maintenance, and replacement of our extra-high
voltage grid. APMO is a cloud-based software developed by IBM. Along with a transmission system operator (TSO), they integrated a particular TSO layer that aims to replace existing obsolete
tools and manual processes at the company.
The project´s purposes are among others:
• To increase the efficiency: through mathematical approach and real measurements of assets performance, the assets managers will be able to estimate the probability of failure of the assets & to undertake the appropriate actions.
• To transform to a digital TSO: the data will be concentrated in one place & automatized which will have an impact on the efficiency of the Asset managers.
• To realize the synergies:
o To adapt the company to the increasing number of assets
o To challenge the results in APMO through benchmark with other TSOs

Job description/Tasks
• Coordination of the verification that the requirements are implemented (by the third-party software supplier) as specified through testing.
o Definition of testing methodology in accordance with companys standards ISTQB (I International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and in collaboration with the software supplier.
o Definition of test scenarios and test cases in collaboration with BA’s
o Coordination of and participation on in the execution of those the tests with the project team (BA’s data scientists, IT, client representatives,…)
o Reporting on testing results and coordination with software supplier for their resolution
o Consulting on test approach and propose changes in methodology when and where necessary.
o Definition planning and follow-up on results and metrics.
• Conduction of business analysis efforts with the business over a dedicated scope:
o project coordination of the business requirements (user interface requirements) & technical (risk & data models, asset need types, optimization module) requirements are delivered in time and in the right format for the APMO implementation team to fulfil the client’s asset management needs
o Consulation of the categorization of requirements: from top priority “must-have” that are in scope of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to longer term nice to have developments foreseen later in the roadmap.
o Consulting regarding full transparency on possible impacts (limitation, risks, constraints but also opportunities) that can arise on the capabilities and features desired by management. The programme and project manager must always be kept in close loop regarding the delivery of those capabilities.
o Participation on to the definition of test scenarios/cases coordinated by lead Test
o Execution of tests and report on results
• Development of the risk concepts in the Asset management necessary to the software
functioning.
o Development/adaption of Asset health indicator and criticality scoring for asset fleets added to the scope according to the companys standards and methodology.
• Development of the data model
o Consulting regarding the implementation of the attributes in the Data platform (IBM Maximo/MAS)
o Identification of IT architecture of the software

Profile requirements:
• Fluency in German and English is a mandatory prerequisite. Project execution 'verbally and in writing' in English (level C1) and in German (level C1). All deliverables shall be written in English. The workshops shall be in German or English depending on the audience.
• At least one reference proving the experience in business analysis and testing
• ISTQB certification
• One reference proving the experience with coordinating efforts among different team members
• One reference proving that consultancy services were delivered in a utilities company.

- Start and duration: 6 Months, starting approx. 22.07.24; with an optional prolongation of 4 times 6 months
