Project Manager - Fixed network - 12 Month Contract

We are currently supporting a Telecommunications business with the recruitment of a Project Manager with background delivering Core Network / Backbone / Transmission project.

General Conditions:

* Contract type: 12 Month Contract + extensions following good performance
* All-Inc Hourly rate: Negotiable
* Location: 100% Home Office
* Start date: August 2024

My client has a leading fiber optic network and one of the world's best mobile networks.

Join their dynamic engineering team delivering the merger of 2 core / fixed line networks. You will be responsible for the PM delivery from testing to go-live.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or PMO.
* Experience delivering Core Network / Fixed line projects (WDM, SDH, etc).
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex telco projects.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Especially with technical engineers.
