SAP Multi-Cloud-Development, Big Data Services, Business Technology Platform (BTP), Budget 1.500 Std.
Start: a.s.a.p. / Duration: 6 months initially, extension more than likely, total budget plan 1500 hours / Location: Germany, Walldorf, mostely Remote / ProjectID: 5100

We support SAP Germany in various projects. Currently, the consulting area Multi-Cloud / Big Data Services is looking for Senior Development Consulting for the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) forms the multi-cloud foundation and an abstraction layer for all applications that run in both public and private clouds. You will be working on the central technical backing service Kafka, one of the SAP Big Data Services for applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Your tasks:
o Development and customizing in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
o Development of the technical backing service Kafka (Big Data Services)
o Design and development in the area of the tiered-storage-function
o Design manageable storage of huge amounts of data in Kafka
o TCO improvements for a wide range of applications

Your skills:
o University degree in computer technology or comparable knowledge
o Comprehensive general knowledge of SAP Cloud technologies
o In-depth knowledge of native cloud architecture and development, as well as cloud platforms
o Several years of experience in the development of cloud technologies and applications
o Excellent hands-on knowledge of Java and Bash, preferably also Scala
o Familiar in working in Unix/Linux shell environments
o Sound IaaS experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
o Experience with cloud object storage technologies such as S3
o Ideally experience with Kafka, usage and/or contributions
o Self motivated teamplayer and strong communicator
o Very good English, oral and writing, German would be a plus
