HV Electrical Engineer - Medical Devices - Hybrid - 12 Months

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (High Voltage Medical Devices)
Location: 1 week/month on-site (if you have a set up lab)
Contract Type: 12 Month Freelance Contract
Hourly Rate: 80-100

Company Overview: A leading medical company specialising in developing pacing/defibrillator technology.

Job Summary: The schematic is ready and they need additional support with layout & schematic testing/optimisation (functional safety/EMC). This role requires experience with high voltage electronics, and experience within the medical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high voltage electrical systems and components for medical devices.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with medical device standards.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all stages of development, including design specifications, test protocols, and compliance reports.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to high voltage systems.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the design and development of high voltage electrical systems, preferably in the medical device industry.
- In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
- Experience with testing and validation of high voltage components.
