About the Role:

My client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager for Power Electronics in Space Applications. With your expertise in space projects, innovative ideas, and drive, you will ensure that our high-quality products meet the demands of our customers. You will be responsible for all technical, commercial, and programmatic aspects of your projects.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead customer projects and internal development projects for the development, qualification, and/or production of power electronics for space applications based on PMI/PMBOK project management methods.

- Take full project responsibility for time, scope, cost, and quality.

- Implement required Q-gates, including appropriate documentation to ensure proper project tracking.

- Coordinate and monitor subcontractor work packages and project orders through the procurement department.

- Manage and coordinate the resources needed for the project.

- Handle project documentation, management reporting, and lessons learned.
Manage changes and complaints effectively.

- Provide feedback to management and sales, and support business acquisition efforts.


What You Need:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.

- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methods and several years of experience in leading projects in the aerospace industry.

- Strong customer orientation, communication skills, team orientation, deadline orientation, organizational skills, process orientation, problem-solving skills, and innovation.

- High level of responsibility and decisiveness.

- Proficiency in English at a negotiation level and reasonably fluent in German.
