Service description:

We are looking for an (biodiversity/environmental) expert service to help bridging the compliance gaps with the ESRS, in particular for E4 - Biodiversity and Ecosystems.

The main objectives are:

Assessment of the value chain environmental impacts
- List strategic suppliers in terms of Biodiversity/Ecosystems impact
- Assess whether they are exposed to Biodiversity/Ecosystems risks
- Develop a strategy with Procurement for long-term collaboration with suppliers

Ensure that decision taken at different level (asset management, procurement…) regarding our I infrastructure projects and maintenance activities are not detrimental for biodiversity.
- Identify and define the biodiversity criteria relevant for our activities.
- List the activities and assets for which biodiversity aspects need the considered.
- Develop a methodology to integrate biodiversity criteria in the relevant decision-making processes.

Requirements:

- Scientific education, expertise in Biodiversity/Environmental aspects.
- Professional experience on value chain environmental impacts
- Very good stakeholder management skills
- Structured, logical and pragmatic
- Be fluent in English and/or Dutch and/or French
