Role:
The role of a dedicated QA engineer for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within the project is crucial for increasing the level of maturity for provided IAM services.
The QA engineer contributes to bringing the IAM technologies user experience to the next stage by ensuring its high quality, smooth maintenance, and
carefree, allowing to focus just on usage. Focusing on the testing of Keycloak, Vault, and tool integrations with a focus on testing on different levels and test automation.
In this role, you will be responsible for test design, manual execution, and test automation within the IAM team for Keycloak, Vault, and self-implemented capabilities for IAM as a Service and self-service.

Targets:
- Requirements and dependencies analysis for IAM (Keycloak), Vault, and related tools
- Close collaboration with the IAM dev team to understand implementation details, functionality, and planned scope
- Test design (unit/component/component integration tests) and manual execution where applicable
- Strong focus on test automation to integrate test suites to automatic pipeline
- Close collaboration with other QA engineers and alignment with the EDP QA strategy
- QA/test scope estimation and planning
- Regression testing and releases approval

Skills (must-have):
- Strong experience in requirements analysis, test planning and test design, and test reporting
- Deep understanding of different types (functional, regression, security, availability, etc.) and levels (unit, component, integration, e2e) of testing
- Experience with IAM technologies (especially Keycloak) and protocols (OIDC, SAML)
- Experience with (REST) API testing
- Working experience with GitLab, understanding of CI/CD
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Terraform
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management software
- Ability to understand complex systems, abstract relevant information, and communicate accordingly
- Agile knowledge and mindset
- Fluent in English (at least B2)

Skills (should-have):
- Good understanding of K8s (containers/docker, helm)
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault
- Experience with SCIM
- Experience with test automation framework implementation/adjustment e.g. Pytest
- Experience with (infrastructure) platform projects
- Experience with GCP, Azure, AWS public clouds
- Working with Scrum and general experience in agile frameworks
