Role:
The program encompasses five distinct product lines, namely Infrastructure, Public Cloud, Service, Data, and DevOps Excellence. These product lines are tasked with the design, delivery, and operations of their respective products whereas program level ensure governance, coherence and consistency across product lines (i.e. platform or product portfolio).

The Product Operations Lead plays a crucial role within the matrix organization (product lines vs. program/platform), taking on the responsibility of overseeing and aligning the product operations teams across all product lines. This encompasses not only the design and implementation of the structural organization but also the procedural organization of product operations.

Concretely, the Product Operations Lead will define all of operations, so Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 Operations for all operational disciplines (change, support, etc.), whereas he will also implement Tier-1 and Tier-2 and ensures implementation through the product lines for Tier-3.

The Product Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring that all operational requirements (e.g. the high availability requirements in a KRITIS environment) are fulfilled.

Targets:
- Define the structural organization of the product operations team
- Define the procedural organization of the product operations team
- Define the roles and responsibilities within the operations team
- Participate in the hiring process for the roles in operations
- Ensure that all processes which are required for operations will be implemented (e.g. based on ITIL as well as DevOps and SRE principles, methodologies and best practices)
- Lead the operations team across the various product lines
- Collaborate with program lead, product management, platform architecture and product delivery on program level
- Collaborate with the IT-operations team to integrate specific processes (e.g. Incident Management)

Skills (must-have):
- Minimum of 10 years experience in leading an IT-operations organization in an infrastructure environment with very critical high availability requirements (e.g Telco, banking or similar)
- Minimum of 10 years experience in leading teams with more than 15 people
- Excellent knowledge of IT operations processes
- Very good knowledge of ITIL
- Minimum of 10 years experience with infrastructure and cloud technologies
