Implementation of a two way relaying system based on LTE downlink physical layer-1
using 3GPP TS 36.211 protocol via MATLAB and Lyrtech Hardware platform.
Achievements
>> Developed a MATLAB simulation to fulfill the requirements of LTE downlink
physical layer-1 based on 3GPP TS 36.211 protocol for both the transmitter and
receiver.
>>Developed a MATLAB code to serve as an acknowledgment code channel using
TCP-IP protocol to automatically control both the transmitter and receiver in
two MATLAB stations.
>>MATLAB and Lyrtech hardware platform were connected to each other using
both VHS-ADS, VHS-DAC.
>>Testing scenarios were applied to verify a real time transmission between two
stations including: Node to Node as well as a two way relaying scenario.

>>Built a hardware kit to sense the heart’s beats and converted it to an electrical
signal.
>>Created a script to encode the signal in a micro-controller "MCU" to prepare it
for transmitting.
>>Developed a software based on Java to receive the signal using a Bluetooth
module and RS-232 for the serial port. The software decodes the received signal,
visualizes four different real graphs for the heart’s beats at the same time, store
data, with the ability for a remote doctor consultation.
