Network Engineer

•Responsible for Monitoring, Analysis, Escalation of service impacts and Resolution of faults occurring in Network Elements that are managed by the Mobility Service Ops organization.
•24 X 7 surveillance with our peer teams utilizing fault management regarding MMS/SMS/WAP/GPRS/LTE/VoLTE.
Escalations and initial trouble shooting regarding GGSNs, PAS, PCRF, PCEF, LTE (PGW/SGW/SDG), HLR/HSS,DNS, (ISR/ASR) Routers, (L2/L3) Switches, Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, Load Balancers, Terminal Servers, Circuits, SMSC, MMSC, RADIUS, MSP, NGG, NGM, EAG, WAP GW , PPG, LDAP and MIND in all AT&T National Data Centers.
•Performs fault isolation, validation, and some repair for supported network nodes, escalating and tracking advanced repair to specialized teams.
•Provides status of data circuits and escalates repair of circuits to responsible 3rd parties (RBOC/CLEC).
•Responsible for the rapid assessment of both the nature and severity of customer problems to evaluate appropriate response, engages various support organizations to provide that response.
•Assists and supports the engaged support organizations to reduce duration and severity of customer impact and/or loss of redundancy.
•Triage analysis and supporting maintenance within the network Outage reporting, notifications, and escalations to leadership.
•Performing basic problem determination (RCA) and categorization of network faults and providing L1 resolution including basic change management and vendor management
•Working and coordinating with different vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, Ericsson, F5,Nokia, HP.
