Team Leader – Monitoring & Control Group
Design, engineer, develop and perform quality control of real-time monitoring and control software for a wide range of sensors and devices including TCA and motorized optical digital levels. Assist in the design of the related hardware. System for monitoring and automatic control of hydrologic tests at underground rock laborites for investigation of potential disposal sites for the National Cooperative for National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste (Nagra).
Software/Development Engineer – HDR-Cam. Member/Owner.
Software to evaluate the light energy and color distribution of high dynamic range (HDR) images and to create lighting stage data for 3D computer animation, modeling and visual effects packages used in a number of major film productions.
Work in a small team to develop a camera system to take spherical high-dynamic range (HDR) images for visual effects in the movie industry. Develop software to control the camera and process the images. This system was used in a number of high-end Hollywood movies including: Underdog, GI-Joe, Narnia and others.

I am passionate about technology and have significant experience working with instrumentation and determining software specifications, designing and writing, real-time data acquisition, control and analysis programs in Object Oriented languages (Delphi, Object Pascal).
I lead the testing of firmware, software and complete monitoring systems. Many of my programs run systems used for investigations by the National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste (Nagra) and for monitoring the safety of workers and surrounding structures (the systems must run 24/7, 365).
For visual effects in the movie industry I was part of the team to develop a camera system which takes spherical high-dynamic range (HDR) images. I designed and wrote the software (OOP code) to control the camera system as well as to evaluate the light energy and color distribution of the HDR images to generate the lighting stage data for 3D computer animation and visual effects packages. The system has been used in a number of major film productions such as Underdog, GI-Joe, Narnia and others.
My experience includes working independently as well as in teams. I am skilled at managing teams and projects. My personal characteristics include being self-driven, dedicated, reliable and committed to providing high quality work. I live in Switzerland (Zurich) and have a C-Permit.
