We laid a pipeline system (Minisub cable DA cable).
The job included 6 x Universal Quick Joints and OTDR tests for each of them. The complete system has been tested by power meter test.
During this job I was responsible for all tests and the monitoring of the cable laying and UQJ installation as a teamleader of the Jointing team. I had to report the customer daily about all activities during the work period. We worked 5 months in 12 hour shifts.

We had to splice electrical cables during the production
phase in the factory of Aker Solutions and afterwards rebuilt the outer cable coat of a 10mm² copper cable.
For the splicing itself I had to prepare the copper core and the coating for the splicing process. After that I had to connect the central elements and joint the copper conductors as per our internal splicing procedure. The connection of the copper cores was done with a restoration of core insulation. After this step the restoration of the outer sheath has been finalized.
During this job I was responsible for the copper splicing. We worked 3 weeks in 12 hour shifts.

We laid cable system (Power Cable cable) for an offshore
wind farm about 80 turbines.
The job included cable pull- in’s, installation of hang-offs, building of fiber sleeves and preparing the cable with plug connections.
The complete system has been tested by final insulation tests and OTDR tests.
During this job I was responsible for all installations and tests as an offshore jointer as well as team leader. Switching authority for a HV test was also a part of my job. I had to report the customer daily about all activities during the work period. We travelled to the platforms via Helicopter and/or with crew boats and worked in 12 hour shifts.
