I am fascinated about the idea of transforming knowledge obtained from basic scientific research into therapeutic applications. With a 8-year experience in independently designing research projects and a wide knowledge of diverse techniques, I would be the right candidate for research scientist positions in biotech industry and pharmaceutical companies.
My strengths are not limited to scientific research and techniques. During my scientific training in China, USA and Germany, I was tightly connected with different collaborators from multiple culture backgrounds. Moreover, I also had a number of opportunities to learn to practice soft skills such as scientific writing, lecturing and presentation. While I was studying in USA, I had a 2-year assignment of teaching college-level courses independently. I am always excited about presenting my work to collaborators and public. I regularly presented my work to different audiences in group meetings, graduate school seminars, and scientific retreats.
