This project is in UMTS and involves modem testing in a controlled environment. In this project testcases executions are performed statically on the network simulator like agilent, anite. The issues or failures are analyzed before reporting to the maintainence team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Creating the Error Reports and assigning it to the analysis team.
Functional and non functional testing of UE.
Understanding the network architecture and the behaviour of protocol stack of UE.

10/2011 – 3/2013

It’s a GSM/GPRS/UMTS project. Before deploying UE it needs to be tested on the field to verify the behavior in real time scenario.It also includes testing of the UE protocol stack, figuring out the problems/issues, analyzing them and then reporting the same.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Testing the mobile on the field.
Creating the Error Reports and assigning it to the analysis team.
Functional and non functional testing of UE.
Understanding the network architecture and the behaviour of protocol stack of UE.

3/2010 – 9/2010

General (functional & system) testing for the handsets provided by the leading handset manufacturer in the world (Nokia). Testing of different products and gained experience
in testing Mobile features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Phonebook, Other Applications (Calculator, OVI), Messaging (MMS, SMS, E-Mail, IM), Camera features, Call handling. Flashing the products and taking traces for errors using Fast traces.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Run the test cases and report the errors in database.
Actively involved in high priority tasks like error verification, error re-test, error response and manual performance testing.
Good knowledge in using Mercury Quality center.
Good knowledge in using Lotus notes.
Good knowledge in using different Databases like PCP.
Good Knowledge of the Error process for different products.
Localization testing(L10N testing).
Knowledge sharing within team about new learnings.
Understading GSM network architecture.
Played a role of Scrum Master for my team.
