DANTE is the operator of GEANT(European research network). GEANT covers all Europe and has interconnections all over the world.
o Network design engineer during GEANT3 migration project
• LLD and migration plans for service migrations from Alcatel SDH to Juniper MX VPWS (ISIS, MPLS LDP, BGP, RSVP signalled tunnels)
• create HLD, LLD, and JUNOS CLI MPLS L3VPN configuration for the combined out of band management network for Juniper MX and Infinera transport devices
• extensive use of DANTEs self developed network inventory software

• Technical Lead network engineer (development and operations) of the Hungarian Research and Education IP/MPLS network. The backbone is made up of ~30 ASR9k, 2 ASR2k, 10 Cat76xx, 13 72xx, 12 2911, 7 c4900, and lots of 29/35/37xx switches. We also operate ~6000 8xx/17xx CPEs. Earlier 3 GSR12k.
• Provide solutions for new customer needs (understand the need, find solution, create the design and then implement, document).
• Provide ongoing tier 3 support for the whole infrastructure. manage service requests with Cisco TAC if needed.
