Project content: Analysis and reorganization of global supply chain for a worldwide leading producers of sensors in Germany, US and various locations in Asia.
• Analyzed supply chain processes globally including purchasing, production, stock holding and distribution.
• Increased flexibility of production by decreasing production planning period from 4 weeks to 4 days, increased stock of raw material by 100% and at the same time decreased stock of finished goods by 60%, redesigned processes from order taking to distribution.

Project Content: Post- merger integration project for German/US Gas producer in their US Headquarter, New Jersey. Lead a 6 person consultant team on site (1 out of 4 teams worldwide: North Am, Benelux, UK, Scandinavia)
• Analyzed procurement department structure and purchase process for North America, compared findings to other regions in scope.
• Managed several purchasing initiatives to drive savings, i.e. Temp Labor, Office Supply, Security and Cleaning, Cylinders, Tires, Courier Services, Road Freight, Hotels and Mobile Phones, delivered strategy for implementation of e-catalogs.
• Designed future global ‘to be’ purchasing structure and process, with responsibilities split between global and regional purchasing departments. Defined roles and responsibilities incl. process and procedure guidelines for communication and coordination.
