Extensive experience in acquisition and implementation of international projects with focuses on
environmental infrastructure, energy and energy efficiency (EE), and renewable energy in Eastern and South Eastern Europe, Middle East and Caucasus funded though IFIs (GIZ, KfW, EU, EBRD, World Bank, EIB) and private clients;
In-depth knowledge of environmental, utility & energy sectors in Eastern Europe; knowledge of
institutional set-up and regulatory frameworks; proven experience in working with governments, public and private enterprises in Eastern Europe;
Fully familiar with external programmes and financing instruments of the GIZ, EC, EBRD, WB, EIB etc.;
Good knowledge of export financing and proven work experience with international banks, Export Credit Agencies, exporters, importers, customs;
Basic knowledge of financial analysis of investment projects, due-diligence, business plans, financial projections;
Excellent communication and organizational capabilities;
Strong abilities to organize and manage information as well as strong analytical, project management and reporting skills;
Outstanding interest in complex consulting projects in the following fields:
· Energy efficiency (EE) in communal infrastructure, housing and industry, inc. renewable energies (solar, hydro, wind);
· Rehabilitation and modernisation of municipal/communal infrastructure;
· Transport and transport infrastructure;
· Policy, institutional advice and capacity building of central and local governments, utility and industrial enterprises; preparation of conceptual, strategic and regulatory documents on energy efficiency and environmental issues;
· Adjustment of legislation (e.g. energy issues, etc.) according to the European legislation (Directives);
· Bankable energy efficiency projects, EE investments and other investment projects (inc. business plans and financial projections of the projects) ;
· PPP projects;
· Management consulting: Improvement in management and operational efficiency of utilities and private companies, improvement of financial and operational performance, institutional development;
· International trade projects.
