Salesforce Administration
Leading on support ownership for European salesforce org and providing ongoing support to the
business in salesforce
Managing and maintaining the salesforce daily data up loader process
Actively involved in providing support for integration of salesforce with the in-house EuroAIS
product on using BizTalk as an Integration Layer.
Planning and organizing support related issues in salesforce
Change request review, co-ordination with the external partners and implementation on the
production salesforce org
Knowledge transfer to the new Team members
Release Planning & Management
Document and establish a Release Management process.
Coordinate and facilitate setting up of release plans.
Administer and report on release schedules.
Prepare and deploy software releases for QA and UAT systems.
Manage and support deployment of software releases to Production systems done by external
service providers, e.g. BCAs corporate data centre service provider.
Approve and publish release contents
Coordinate dates and times of migrations between environments
Software Configuration Management:
Establish a SCM policy and guidelines document.
Review and select a suitable tool to assist with software configuration management.
In cooperation with respective Project Manager, develop a SCM plan for each project to control the
work products of a project covering the various configuration items documentation, source code,
development, test and production environments, etc.
Perform the role of a Configuration Librarian recording and releasing various configuration items
as needed.
