October 2003 December 2011: assigned as contractor to a major Swiss bank (UBS) supporting z/OS systems software.
Installation and implementation of several releases of z/OS, recently v1.12.
Implementation of Unix Systems Service.
Storage management.
HSM and SMS maintenance, RMM.
Implementation of tape-less tape system (IBM 7720).
DB2 maintenance.
Performance and tuning.
Debugging and dump analyses.
During 2011 performed as technical lead two migrations of large archives, the first migration was from Unix to z/OS OAM, the second was a migration of a tape and disk based archive to a tape-less tape system (VTS).
Other tasks involved support and implementation of OAM, CMOD/OnDemand, Lifecycle Director (ASM), Unix Systems Services and also a migration of optical disk- based systems to Disk/Tape.
Development of a range of Software utilities in assembler and Rexx.
