At the Software Innovation Club Paderborn, I led the development of ML-based solutions for optimal cloud provider selection, showcasing my ability to adapt and excel in new technical environments. My tenure at Ladeplan allowed me to enhance strategic planning capabilities using ML models, such as MLP, LSTM, and Gradient Boosting. At BASF, I revolutionized processes with cutting-edge generative AI and predictive models, implementing RAG-based approaches for question answering, and enhancing chatbot capabilities. I also developed time series prediction models for the company's Python library and automated deployments to Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration with DataBricks.
A highlight of my academic career was my master’s thesis on Reinforcement Learning for Traffic Signal Control at Fraunhofer IOSB-INA. I significantly reduced training time and improved adaptive traffic control by developing Imitation Learning (IL) based controllers and implementing Generative Adversarial Imitation Learning (GAIL). This work has made a notable impact in the field, demonstrating the potential for advanced RL techniques to optimize complex systems.
