From 0 to 100: There was a lot to do, especially in the go-live phase. In addition to user trainings, a lot of processes had to be implemented. Programming in Adobe forms, user exits, BAPIs and customizing activities in SD and MM modules were necessary. For example, new price conditions had to be implemented in the price calculation schema in the SD sales order process, the down payment process was adapted to the company's process, SAP credit management was introduced and, most recently, new material types and storage locations were customized. Since my knowledge is quite broad and I am also interested in introducing myself to new topics, I have now been with the company for 12 months instead of 3 months.


User training and support in the SAP Fiori S/4HANA environment.
SD Pricing Procedure enhancements (implement new conditions/ Supporting to implement Downpayment process / Sales commission process)
- Together with a colleague, I took over the further development of the pricing calculation schema after the go-live. The focus was on optimizing the determination rules and statistical evaluations.

Sales Commission process:
- I implemented a custom Z-development for the commission process, as the SAP standard was not applicable for the company.
This development covered everything from migration to pricing in customer orders and the settlement of commissions for representatives.

Supporting/Integration SAP Credit Management
- I supported, tested, and coordinated with the specialist department the integration of the SAP credit limit check. In the process, special requirements outside the SAP standard were incorporated and implemented.
Supporting/Integration SAP Freight Costs calculation into the Transport environment
- Depending on the carriers and the number of loading meters of the truck, new freight calculations were triggered and implemented using pricing tiers.
Adobe Forms SD/MM/FI:
- I was the head of the development for the forms and the technical architecture. I programmed a central class with subclasses to minimize the maintenance effort required for extensions or corrections.
- MM-Customizing: New plants and storage locations with full tests: Implementing new material types, new storages locations
- A lot of ABAP Developments Z-Transactions/Userexits/BAPI Enhancements/Z-Classes/Reports/Queries SQVIs
- Additional: CDS Views, BRF+

This project focused on providing IT support for the Customer Service team with their daily inquiries.
The inquiries mainly revolved around order entry and similar topics.

A significant part of the project involved optimizing and creating Adobe forms, as well as implementing and improving variant configuration, including its integration into the forms.

I started my SAP career at HARTING as a developer, SD/MM consultant and SD/MM trainer.

With a team of over 40 employees, we looked after more than 50 subsidiaries worldwide. New challenges and developments arose every day.

Role as a trainer:
I trained new colleagues from the sales department as well as new trainees in the development area in the SD module. I not only provided training at the Espelkamp site, but also in the USA, Switzerland and Romania

Role as contact person in IT:
The tasks were very extensive. From Z developments to ATP checks, EDI Seeburger to the implementation of OCR technology, everything was included.

My tasks included, among other things:

- SD-Daily-Tickets: World wide requests, from USA, Brasilia to China. Different countries – Different solutions.
- I was the point of contact for the SD process. The system was extensively expanded with custom Z-developments. Within the SD process, functionalities such as the down payment process, ATP-APO checks, collective billing, and freight cost processing were active. Over the years, I was able to acquire extensive knowledge across all modules.
- Contact person for invoices in Russia: this country is subject to sensitive regulations. The import of OSS Notes and form adaptations were necessary.
- OCR training: The aim of the project was to automatically scan delivery bills and post them as goods receipts. In addition, the software had to be trained to recognize keywords.
- Customizing: A new plant or a new sales organization was added almost every year. The complete customizing had to be set up. This included tasks such as assigning storage locations to plants or preparing the pricing scheme, output determination to pricing strategies
- Intercompany processing: Supporting the internal intercompany process was a core task. The company operates production plants in various countries. In this context, I was also frequently involved with triangular transactions.
- The company also has its own special pricing process, which I was responsible for. This was a significant strategic component of the sales process.
