burden, enhancing profitability. Renowned for its innovative cloud services, Blikk's
solutions are utilized daily by tens of thousands of users across a myriad of
industries, underscoring its versatility and impact in the market.

The project centered on developing a fully automated Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
solution, transitioning Blikk from traditional ClickOps to a sophisticated GitOps
model. The initiative aimed to overhaul existing manual deployment and integration
processes, introducing a modern, automated CI/CD pipeline. In addition to
streamlining CI/CD operations and IAC, the project involved a strategic overhaul of
Blikk's existing architecture to establish a more secure and robust cloud
infrastructure.

T. served as a key consultant on the project, making substantial contributions
to the development and implementation of the IAC solution. He collaborated closely
with the lead Platform Engineer to design and implement the Pulumi-based IAC
solution in the public cloud. T. was instrumental in creating automated
infrastructure deployment pipelines and redesigning CI/CD processes to boost
automation and operational efficiency. His expertise was crucial in revamping the
cloud architecture, significantly enhancing its security and robustness, which
resulted in a marked decrease in operational vulnerabilities and an increase in
system resilience.

Omocom distribute insurance solutions in collaboration with several partners and risk bearers in the domain, including insurance companies W.R Berkley Insurance Nordic, Dina Försäkring AB, and Baloise Holding AG. They have the capacity to broker insurance across the whole of Europe.

The project involved a critical migration of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) from Azure Bicep to Pulumi due to the inadequacies and limitations of Bicep. The aim was to enhance infrastructure reliability and security. This included conducting a comprehensive security review using frameworks like Threat Modeling, implementing necessary security enhancements (e.g., firewalls and load balancers), ensuring system redundancy and replication, managing off-site backups and georeplication, and developing a Disaster Recovery Plan. Additionally, the project focused on identifying further cost-saving opportunities by optimizing shared environments beyond development.

T., as a DevOps engineer at Omocom, was integral to the migration from Azure Bicep to Pulumi, improving the infrastructure's robustness and functionality. He conducted thorough security assessments and implemented enhancements, including configuring firewalls, load balancers, and other security measures based on the analysis. His responsibilities also included ensuring redundancy and backup management, developing a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan, and optimizing shared environments for cost efficiency.
