This position is carried out within an Electrically assisted Steering System application, developed to be able to fulfill the customer requirements for various OEMs,
Current main focus of activity is the application for a certain Chinese OEM(HOZON) and it's specific requirements, but also offering support to other projects and OEMs.
The system is a Dual-ECU Dual-Actuator Column EPS with ASIL D safety rating which provides various steering assistance specific features and services, tailored according to OEM needs.
Main activities:
- Analysis of Customer and System requirements in order to refine into specific Software requirements
- Analysis of Technical Safety Requirements in order to refine in Safety Software requirements
- Ensuring proper linkage and coverage between Customer/System/TSR and Software requirements
- Analysis and estimation of needed services/features/components(re-usable or project specific) to fulfill customer needs
- Creation and configuration of SW model and components in order to fulfill the overall SW Architecture Design
- Creation of High Level Design in order to describe the SW behavior, interactions and integration needs
- Linkage between SW requirements and High Level Design in order to ensure complete traceability and coverage
- Creation and linkage of component responsibilities requirements as backbone for components detailed design

This role was within a PASE application system for one of the top TIER 1 suppliers for various German OEM's.
The system is part of a MultiEcu MultiCore BCM having as main functionalities the Keyless Entry and Keyless GO functions using classic LF and RF communication, but also supporting SMART DEVICE CONNECTION via NFC and BLE with encrypted data.
Main activities:
- Analysis of System requirements in order to refine in Software Architecture requirements and needs
- SW Architecture design and linkage according to SW requirements and project milestones
- Review on test case implementation and specification from ENG7 to ENG10 levels
- SW Architectural design and code implementation reviews
- Providing analysis and cost estimation on customer change requests
- Integration of external customer SWC's and adapting according to project needs in an AUTOSAR context
- Configuration/Creation of internal relevant interfaces and components in order to achieve project needs.
-Creation of project ECU extract in order to be integrated in overall BCM library environment.

This role had in focus the overall management from both technical and process point of view of developing a production testing software for an industrial Smart Gas Metter.
The goal of this project was to develop a complete production line test software meant to manipulate all hardware components of the Gas Metter.

This role was carried out for a Trailer Light module project for the North American OEM General Motors, having as main functionalities the control of the trailer lights and self-detection of trailer presence. Other key aspects of this project are:

- Specific OEM low speed single-wire CAN protocol ( GM-LAN )

- Support in the acquisition phase of this project and for new customers for similar products by creating preliminary architectures and providing cost estimation

Software developer in a trailer tow module project meant for the major German OEMs. The ECU was developer to be AUTOSAR compliant, with main functionalities the control of the trailer lights, gateway functionality to external LIN slave modules, and the control of an electrical or semi-electrical tow bar. Other key aspects for this project would be, the fact that, it is developed to accomplish ASIL B functional safety
rating and it was designed to be a platform project.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of handwritten SW Modules in ANSI C language following AUTOSAR and MISRA rules
- Design and implementation of model-based SW Modules in MatLab using TargetLink and Simulink following AUTOSAR and MISRA rules
- Maintaining a platform approach for modules in responsibility
- Configuration and maintenance of Communication Stack modules ( CAN and LIN )
- Integration and specific customer adaptation for each CAN and LIN message databases
- Supporting analysis on SW Architecture changes for customer change requests
