I was the lead of the Data Steward Track of a large-scale Data Governance project for one of the world's leading automotive manufacturer.
Me and my team were responsible for the
- identification and documentation of client's most relevant data sources
- mapping of client's technical metadata to the metamodel of Collibra
- development of JSON/Python scripts to import/extract metadata into/from Collibra
- designing of an end-to-end data flow from the vehicle to the backend
- enrichment of technical metadata, such as signals, and vehicle master data with business context
- development of business glossaries and business taxonomies
- determination and implementation of data domains

- Defined and implemented policies, standards, and data governance roles to build an enterprise data protection framework
- Mapped metadata and reference data Collibra
- Defined and implemented methodologies to enrich technical metadata with business context
- Designed and tested workflows to manage access to datasets in data governance/catalog solutions
- Imported/extracted metadata into/from Collibra via REST API

- Mapped client's material master data and metadata to Collibra DGC
- Customized Collibra's metamodel
- Designed and implemented a community and domain structure in Collibra that represents client's data governance organization
- Defined and implemented policies, standards, and data governance roles to build an enterprise data protection framework
- Defined and implemented methodologies to enrich technical metadata with business context
- Designed and developed workflows to simplify metadata curation in data governance/catalog solutions
- Imported and extracted metadata via REST API
- Developed data lineage diagrams to visualize data flows and to perform impact analyses
