Since 1986 I have been working within the ICT industry mainly as a (sr.) Network Engineer.
During the recent years I have discovered that I’m very capable in fulfilling a particular role required with an assignment.
I’m capable in joining two entities, departments, divisions, together based on their mutual benefits
My in depth technical background makes me a perfect partner in conversations with the nerds. This more than often result in a well-accepted solution.
I have developed an successful systematic problem solving approach which leads towards results

Heineken All 150+ IT/OT firewall software wise upgraded. 2 x
Heineken On all 1200+ firewalls new uniform IPS/IDPS profiles installed.
ING Bank N.V. The current DDoS solution for the bank to which I had a significant contribution in terms of idea, design and ease of use. Very likely unique in Europe.
IT&Care. Prohibited internet access from the core systems databases. Long lasting issue. Done in 2 days. Result good, end of contract. 
ING Bank N.V. The outbound proxy environment for Europe, Singapore and America’s. Awesome. I guess once in a life time;
GGZWNB. Solved an Avaya NLB issue;
Kentalis. Build a 60 locations based WAN, with monitoring and service control;
Airtel. Became a trusted advisor for Africa based engineers resulting in direct access to their firewall for implementing requested changes;
Flexusjeugdplein: A jammed migration project put back on track and time. Hire additional staff;
ZXFactory: Very complex network incident investigated and eventually solved;
Avensus: Service description defined for a WAN Optimization service, including SLA and OLA, based on Riverbed and closed a deal based on this service. (Cool)
De Jong & Laan Accountants: WAN replaced. Project from start (tender) to end managed;
Panalitical: Wrote an executive level report which paved the way for a 200K Riverbed investment;
Robeco: One more complex network inconvenience in which Cisco TAC intensively was online involved in root cause troubleshooting;
cYn International b.v.: Build my own company and sold activities (7 FTE, 800K turnover) in 2004.
Worldcom / Uunet: 2 totally different organizations are moving in the Amsterdam headquarters sharing 1 network infrastructure, build several datacenters;
