Embedded in a global team (NY/LDN), I service as the key contact for the Rates/Credit trading desk in Frankfurt. The role relies on ensuring the stability of an in-house Java developed trading platform with interfaces to market data applications, risk management tools, booking systems, to name a few. The application is embedded as a core system inside the bank's business and is connected to 60+ broker platforms, market exchanges and self owned customer platforms by the bank. A total of 12k+ RFQs with a notional of approximately 30bn are handled by the system on a daily base. It runs on Unix severs and Win7 clients, and uses an Oracle database for storage.
As a very critical process to the business the pricing curves for the Swap and Bond trading desks are maintained and published out of Frankfurt, which can make the job quite challenging in case of incidents affecting these data feeds. On failures on the system or on process flows, I become the problem owner and then act as a stakeholder for internal/external support teams to derive a solution. I stay in close contact to the development teams to support in error analysis and in enhancement of the application.

1st/2nd Level Tradingfloor Support in a multilingual environment for CB & S Markets at Deutsche Bank AG.
Work in an international team and act as the first support contact to the traders in any IT issues. Responsible for day-to-day implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including all hardware and software. Manage problem resolution by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation procedures. Coordination of Win 7 rollout. Act as a liaison to vendors' service representatives to resolve problems.
Programming and troubleshooting of Excel spread-sheets in VBA and MS-Access databases.
