Project goal was to migrate from Oracle warehouse builder to Oracle data integrator. Approximately 1,600 mappings were migrated, and special testing tool was developed to test if everything is running as expected.

Involved in all stages of migration and developed a files testing utility specially for this project.

Project goal was to implement DWH / BI System for Insurance company that has a lot of legacy data as a result of various mergers through its history in Croatia. As a result, a special task was to develop a system that leverages all the legacy data with current source system (there are three active insurance production applications during the project). First phase has been successfully implemented covering sales and sales controlling.

Project goal was to migrate from Oracle warehouse builder to Oracle data integrator (ODI 12c). Besides the migration of ETL itself there was a challenge to fit the new technology in existing IT landscape in bank and to fit the new tool so existing business processes could benefit from new tool usage. Developing specific add-on tools in ODI 12c was necessary to enable the usage of the tool in bank’s IT landscape.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

During entire project key roles and responsibilities were related to:
• Solution design
• Design and implement architecture of the new (ODI12c) tool
• Technical aspect of migration
• Fitting the tool in existing IT landscape (communication towards other departments, like DBA, storage teams and so on)
• Create training materials for ODI 12c and educate all internal and external developers
• Migration of OWB mappings
• Modifying existing architecture for speed optimization
