-Take charge of requirements capture, early validation and MBD activities to minimise misunderstandings and scope creep, thus reducing cost and disappointment in the later parts of the product life cycle
-Engage the software and systems teams to develop lower level detailed design specifications
-Adhere to industry standards, and comply with regulatory bodies’ best practices in implementing designs
-Implement design ideas using MBD tools, with manufacturability, testability, serviceability/maintainability and scalability in the early design phase
-Keep detailed design documents in accordance with GE processes and devise Verification Test Procedures

On the prestigious Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) I engaged in the following:
-Completed five project rotations in highly technical roles, within different parts of the company
-Qualification Focal on the sREU project Successfully executed EMC qualification tests to DO160-G standard, updated the Qual Test Plan and Procedure, resolved failures quickly and effectively, flagged systematic faults to leadership and systems team
-Systems architecture design engineer as part of the Future Flight Deck (FFD) program in order to meet the power generation needs of a future aircraft system, which involved research into hydrogen fuel cell technologies
-Systems verification engineer on the Gulfstream VII project, secondary power distribution system; used requirements/configuration management tools such as DOORS and Dimensions to create and log test scripts
-Electronic systems design and test engineer on the GENISIS project; developed JTAG boundary scan ICT for the GPM where I achieved an 84% test coverage on the processor board
-Asset management, logistics and forecasting on the DCN project for Gulfstream and COMAC
-Created and performed systems verification test procedures on APMS for Gulfstream VII project
-Gained experience in various parts of the engineering lifecycle both in a systems and hardware capacity
-Slashed thermal qualification of DCDU by 3 weeks by implementing automated testing and 24-hour test cycles
-Completed very demanding, advanced technical and leadership training alongside project work

Serviced, repaired and calibrated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) X-ray, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current systems
Generated quotes, hire contracts and service agreements as well as service reports
Learnt basic principles and theory behind the NDT technologies and Gained Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS)
Achieved the ‘Above and Beyond Bronze award for Imagination and Courage’ for halving the turn-around time and cost of repairing the CR50p X-ray scanner
Gained experience in procurement, data management, logistics, planning and optimisation of processes
