RED is a market leading Tech Recruitment firm specialising in SAP software specialists with 7 global offices and 250 Employees. Throughout my employment at RED my primary role was Full Life Cycle SAP Recruitment Consultant in the contract team. In September 2011 I relocated from London to Munich to support the opening of a new office there. In 2015 I took on responsibility for managing a small team.
Key tasks
- Sales and business development; cold calling, networking, lead generation, relationship building, pitching and selling services, building proposals, negotiating framework contracts, negotiating placements, work orders and extensions, strategic account planning and development
- Requirements capture and consulting with corporate Clients from Manager to CXO level; deep qualifying discussions around SAP project and resource challenges and requirements, defining role specifications, planning and managing recruitment campaigns and existing external workforce
- Candidate sourcing and talent acquisition; targeted mail and advertising campaigns, searching databases & online platforms, headhunting and networking events, also coordinating internal search teams to fill multiple vacancies
- Candidate interviews and deep qualifying discussions with technical & functional candidates of all levels around skills, motivations, commitments, logistics, clients and projects, negotiation of terms
- Making informed matchmaking decisions based on shortlists of well qualified candidates and well qualified vacancies
- Managing successful end to end recruitment processes worth €100s of thousands involving unpredictable stakeholders and timelines, often multiple processes concurrently
- Relationship management covering Client spend of circa €500k/month; single point of contact to clients and contractors for mediating, negotiating and problem solving legal, financial, performance and project related issues
- Management of several Recruitment Consultants from induction to 18 months experience including career & personal development planning, monthly business reviews, extensive training, supporting on calls and to Client meetings
Key achievements:
- Opened a portfolio of Tech Consultancy & End User Clients ranging from SME to global blue-chip, building long term relationships with stakeholders up to C level and generating close to 30m EUR in sales revenue throughout my tenure
o Successfully placed 100s of SAP experts into contracts with ownership of end to end recruitment process
o Consistently maintained a base of 30-40 contractors for 5 years
o Approximately 80% of business from long term repeat customers
o Approximately 50% of business on an exclusive basis
o Approximately 2:1 average CV – Fill ratio
o Approximately 75% contractor extension rate
o Average margin 22%
- Global Top Biller across all offices and business units 4 years consecutively from 2014 - 2018
- Billed over 1m EUR in personal annual margin 5 years consecutively from 2014 – 2019
- Helped to define best practices and training materials around Recruitment Process Control, Candidate Search Methodology and Deeper Candidate Qualification
